Courses commence
English courses commence every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday (everyday except Sunday) all year round
German courses are available every Tuesday & Friday
Japanese courses are available every Thursday

Additional Costs:
An additional fee of $50 per person is payable direct to Pro Dive. This fee consists of a $16.50 Government Environmental Management Charge as well as a Port Departure Tax and administration costs.
Extras
Dive medical in accordance with Australian Standard AS 4005-1. A copy of this Standard can be provided to you in advance if required. This can be arranged by us on day 1 of your course but we recommend that you do it prior to commencement if possible. A fee is payable directly to the doctor if you choose to do it in Cairns. Digital Underwater Camera's are available for hire.
Requirements
Ability to swim
Minimum age is 12 years subject to a medical assessment as per AS4005.1. Children under the age of 15 must be accompanied by parent or adult over the age of 18 years.
As mentioned above, a AS4005.1 dive medical is required. Some medical conditions may preclude you from diving, such as asthma, diabetes, epilepsy, pregnancy, and some other medical conditions. Children must be accompanied by parent or guardian during the medical assessment. If you are unsure please contact us.

Day 1: Academic and Pool Training

Day 3: Diving the Outer Great Barrier Reef

07:00 Depart Cairns for 3days 2nights of fantastic diving on the Great Barrier Reef
11:30 Your first Training Dive in the ocean before lunch and second dive after lunch. You will also have a lot of time for snorkelling
Day 4: More Great Diving
06:30 Third Training Dive before Breakfast. This will be the deepest training dive for your certification
10:30 The last Training Dive for your PADI Open Water Certification Course. Now you are a Certified Diver!
14:30 Your first pleasure dive as a certified diver
19:00 A guided night dive after dinner. Another great experience!
Day 5: More Diving and Return to Cairns
